If you are running a high volume rental store then you will want to do things like Allocating bikes in hand free mode.

having a tablet set up, connected to a Bluetooth barcode scanner.

• Scan ticket
• Scan bike(s)
• Scan 'OK' code

.. and the bike is checked out to that rental.  Same works for check in.

To facilitate this BRM recognises two special codes when in barcode mode

• OK +99
• CANCEL +00

and you can have these printed on stickers or on a wristband:
