Exporting Data from BRM 2.0

BRM allows you to export your key data in .csv format for external use. In BRM 2.0, the .csv file is automatically emailed to the logged-in user who requested the report. This file can easily be opened in a spreadsheet program for further analysis or printed for your records.

Available Data Exports in BRM 2.0:

  • Reservations (two options):

    • Reservations only

    • Reservations broken down by individual inventory items

  • Transactions

  • Customer database

  • Inventory

See below for more information on how to export each data type.

Where to Find the Export Page

To access the export options, go to the left-hand menu and select "Reports". There, you’ll see the "Export data" lozenge:

How to Export Your Data

All export processes follow the same basic steps:

Step 1 – Select the Data Type

Choose the type of data you want to export.

Step 2 – Select the Date Range

Use the calendar dropdowns to set your custom date range, or use the quick filters on the right-hand side for convenience.

How date ranges apply to each export type:

  • Reservations: Includes reservations taking place between the selected dates.

  • Transactions: Includes all transactions processed within the selected dates.

  • Customers: Includes customers created within the selected date range.

  • Inventory: Includes items added to your inventory during the selected dates.

Step 3 – Request the Report

Once submitted, the system will generate the report and email it directly to the logged-in user in .csv format.

Note: For reservation exports, you can enable "line per item detail" to break down reservations by individual asset for more detailed reporting.
