Manage your bike repairs alongside your rental operation

Already using BRM to manage your bike rentals? Repairs allows you to manage your workshop operation in the same system.

Customers can book repairs directly through your Customer Booking Page (CBP), while your team manages the repair from the Planner.

From the initial booking through to servicing, additional work, customer approval and collection, the complete repair journey can be managed in BRM.

How the Repairs workflow works

The Repairs workflow connects the customer-facing booking experience with the workshop team.

1. Customer books a repair

Customers can book a repair directly through your Customer Booking Page.

They can select the repair service they require, choose a date, add a note for the mechanic and provide their details.

Once the booking is completed, it enters BRM for your team to manage.

2. The repair appears in the Planner

The repair booking is managed through the Planner, alongside your other BRM bookings.

Your workshop team can see the repair and begin working on it.

3. The mechanic works on the bike

The mechanic can view the repair and update its repair stage as the work progresses.

This gives your team visibility of where each repair is in the process.

4. Additional work is required

Sometimes a mechanic identifies additional work that wasn't included in the original booking.

Instead of managing this separately, the mechanic can create and send a quote directly from BRM.

5. Customer approves the quote

The customer receives an automated email with the additional work and can approve the quote from their phone.

Once approved, the workshop can continue with the additional work.

6. The repair is completed

The mechanic continues to update the repair stage in BRM as the work progresses.

Your team always has visibility of the current status of the repair.

7. Customer is notified

Once the bike is ready, the customer can be notified that their bike is ready for collection.

The complete repair journey

Customer books → Service selected → Date selected → Mechanic note → Customer details → Booking confirmed → Bike serviced → Additional work → Quote approved → Bike ready for collection

This connects the customer experience and the workshop workflow in one system.

Why use Repairs in BRM?

One system for your rental and repair operation

Your rental bookings and repair bookings can be managed within the same BRM environment.

Give customers an easier booking experience

Customers can book repairs online through your existing Customer Booking Page rather than relying entirely on phone calls, emails or manual booking.

Keep your workshop team up to date

Repair bookings are visible in the Planner, with repair stages that can be updated as the job progresses.

Make additional work easier to manage

When additional work is required, your team can send a quote directly through BRM and have the customer approve it online.

Keep customers informed

Customers can be notified when their bike is ready for collection, helping close the loop from booking to collection.

Repairs + Customer Booking Page

Repairs can be offered through the Customer Booking Page, giving your customers a direct online route to book workshop services.

This means your CBP can become more than just a place to book a rental — it can also be the starting point for your repair operation.

Repairs + Planner

Once a repair is booked, it becomes part of your BRM workflow through the Planner.

Your workshop team can use the Planner to see and manage repair bookings and update the repair stage as the job progresses.

This keeps the customer booking and workshop operation connected.

Additional work & customer approval

One of the key parts of the Repairs workflow is handling work that wasn't part of the original booking.

If the mechanic finds that additional work is required:

Mechanic identifies additional work → Quote is created in BRM → Customer receives an automated email → Customer reviews and approves → Workshop continues the work

The customer can approve the additional work directly from their phone.

From booking to collection

Repairs is designed to connect the entire journey:

BOOK
Customer books the repair online.

MANAGE
The repair appears in the Planner for your team.

SERVICE
The mechanic works on the bike and updates the repair stage.

APPROVE
Additional work can be quoted and approved online.

COLLECT

Your rental operation and your workshop — together in BRM.
