Pricing Your Items

At BRM, we keep data entry as simple and efficient as possible.

Instead of requiring you to set a price for every single bike, we use Price Groups. This allows you to quickly set up and manage your pricing—making updates faster and easier when needed.

In the above diagram showing  the Inventory / Price groups page you will see the main part is a table of your Price Groups (rows) and Price Points (columns).

Each bike belongs to a Price Group, and each group has its own pricing profile over time—the longer a customer rents, the more they pay. On the Inventory / Price Management page, you’ll see a table where the rows represent your Price Groups and the columns represent Price Points (time intervals).

Example

For instance, if your City Bikes Price Group is set up as follows:

  • 2-hour price: 10 (in your chosen currency)

  • 4-hour price: 15

  • And so on.

You can create as many Price Groups as you need, and define as many Price Points as your business requires. This flexible setup allows you to build a pricing model that works perfectly for your rental operation.

This structure makes it clear and easy to manage rental pricing across all of your bikes.
