How do I send customers to my own page after they book?

You can send customers to a page of your own after they've booked — a thank-you page, an upsell, or a page that fires your own tracking.

Setting it up

Go to Settings > Customer Booking (Online) > Advanced and put the address of your page in Redirect Url. Use the full address including https:// — a part-written address may not resolve.

Leave the field empty if you don't want a redirect.

What the customer sees

The customer still sees your booking confirmation page first. It's displayed with a ten-second countdown, and then they're moved on to your page.

So the redirect happens after the confirmation, not instead of it — the customer doesn't miss their booking details.

What gets passed to your page

Nothing. The customer arrives at the address exactly as you entered it — no booking reference, no customer name, no amount is added to the address.

This matters if you were planning to show the booking reference on your own thank-you page, or to track the value of the booking in your own analytics from the address. That isn't possible this way. Write your page so it works without knowing anything about the booking.

Things to watch

  • Test it by making a real booking on your own page — it's the only way to see the countdown and the redirect as a customer does.
  • If your booking page runs in kiosk mode for walk-in self-service, the redirect doesn't happen, so the screen stays ready for the next customer.
  • Point it at a page that makes sense to someone who has just booked. Your home page is rarely the best choice.
