What this error means
This is Lightspeed's general, catch-all error. It appears when something goes wrong between BRM and Lightspeed that Lightspeed didn't return a more specific code for.
Why it happens
The cause varies — a temporary Lightspeed problem, a connection issue, or a configuration problem Lightspeed didn't classify. Because it's generic, the message alone doesn't pinpoint the cause.
How to fix it
- Wait a moment and retry the transaction — if it was a temporary Lightspeed blip, it will clear.
- If it keeps happening, note when it occurs (which reservation, which action).
