You can apply your own fonts and CSS to the legacy Online Booking Wizard (OBW). These settings do not affect the newer Customer Booking Page (CBP) — if your store books through the CBP, see changing the colours and theme of your booking page instead.
Where the settings are (OBW)
Go to Settings > Customer Booking (Online) > Advanced. Four fields control the look of the legacy booking wizard:
- Font Family — the font name to use.
- Font Url — a link to the font itself (for example a Google Fonts URL), so the browser can load it.
- Custom Online CSS — CSS rules typed straight into the box.
- Custom CSS Url — a link to a stylesheet you host yourself.
Use either the CSS box or the CSS URL — the URL is easier to maintain if you already host a stylesheet for your website.
Tips
- Change one thing at a time and reload the booking wizard to check the effect.
- Check your changes on a phone as well as a desktop — most online bookings are made on a phone.
- Custom CSS targets the page as it is built today. If a future update changes the underlying page, your rules may need revisiting.
If you're on the Customer Booking Page (CBP)
The CBP doesn't read these fields. Its appearance is controlled by the theme tools, which let you match your brand colours exactly without writing any CSS — see changing the colours and theme of your booking page.
Custom fonts and custom CSS for the CBP are on the way. If you have a specific branding requirement in the meantime, get in touch with support and we'll advise.
